About Us

Our Story

Our story is a story of love and dedication.

The late doctor Ibrahim always worked towards one goal; improve the lives of the less fortunate and aid all those who need medical help because medical care is a basic human right. Inspired by the same goal, family members, friends and colleagues got united together and established the Ibrahim A. Badran Foundation (IBF).

We believe in the value of every human life and strive to deliver proper healthcare to marginalized communities wherever they may be.

To deliver healthcare where it’s needed, for those who can’t afford it.

To bridge the gap between proper healthcare and unfortunate patients, to serve the marginalised communities across Egypt.

Core Values

Care and Compassion

Being of service to others. We provide services that help people develop their capabilities, and the ability to pursue the aspects of their lives that they value. We care for people, and we care for one another.

We are considerate of ourselves and of others. Respect includes consideration for privacy, physical space and belongings; respect for different viewpoints, philosophies, physical ability, beliefs and personality. One must recognize they are a person worthy of respect.

We are passionate about what we do in our Foundation. We do our job well and we take pride in our work.

We are loyal to ourselves and our Foundation.

Following our moral or ethical convictions and doing the right thing in all circumstances, even if no one is watching us. Having integrity means we are true to ourselves and would do nothing that demeans or dishonors us.

Meet IBF

Ibrahim Ahmed Badran Foundation IBF was founded in 2014 by the late doctor Ibrahim Ahmed Badran’s family, friends and colleagues who decided to keep his memory alive by creating a Charity Foundation under his name, with a vision to reach and treat the less fortunate as it’s a basic human right with the purpose of keeping his legacy alive.

Today, the foundation has successfully organised more than 325 medical convoys in 120 villages in 16 Governorates across Egypt, examined more 340,000 patients in rural areas. In those 7 years, the foundation received help from more than 1600 volunteers alongside the support of our medical team who specialize in more than 15 medical specialties, and resulted in more than 8000 surgical referrals.
